Indoor Air Pollution

In rural Kumaon, firewood is still the predominant fuel used for cooking. Primitive indoor cookstoves comprises of three stones, often without even a provision for a chimney, which causes significant indoor smoke, and inefficient use of wood.

Our Breathing Easy project aims to provide a better cooking environment, easy use, and low-maintenance stove which can be used with indigenous biomass as fuel.
